The Baron Says: I Didn't Give Up!

Things didn't start off too good against the Baron. He had this thing about waving his flag in all four corners and refused to begin the match until I moved. Well, I wanted the match to start before the seas covered North America, wiping out all traces of western civilization forever, so I turned to walk to the other corner. I took my eye off him for just a second and what did that scoundrel do but start choking me with his silly flag.

Fortunately I was able to get him on the mat toward the end of our match, which is where I feel most comfortable. Baron has an amateur wrestling background and almost pinned me twice and was able to fight off my attempt at an armbar, though if I say so myself only barely. I tried to swing my hips around and snare him with my legs into a triangle choke, which all of you grappling fans out there probably know is a very good thing. I did immobilize his arm but I wasn't quite able to get the hold I wanted. So instead of applying the perfect technique I was going for, I just took what I could get, squeezed like the devil, and was fortunate enough to get the tap out.

He didn't have much to say to afterwards, but some of the wrestlers told me that Baron was saying that he didn't give up and that the referee didn't understand English. I don't know about all of that, but while it was a tough match, I'd love to take him on again for Atlas Championship Wrestling again anything!
