Storm, There is Absolutely Nothing You Can Do . . .

I had no idea who I was going to wrestle at the latest Atlas Championship Wrestling event in Gray, Maine. Tony decided to mix things up by having a lottery for most of the matches, the result of which was that some of the guys who normally were rivals ended up as tag team partners!

Anyway, I came to the ring and was standing there waiting for my opponent when who did he turn out to be but Tony Atlas!

Now I have managed Tony's opponents for the past year or so, pretty much all over New England, but this was the first time I ever faced him myself. He refused to wrestled me, which in retrospect comes as no real surprise. He grabbed the mike and promptly launched into a long diatribe about how great I was and how proud he was that I was his ACW champion, but that the best thing for me to do was go home and bake cookies.

Now most of you know I'm pretty even-tempered and would never harm so much as a roach, but I was starting to get riled - so were the rather large percentage of women in the audience I might add. Enough so that when Tony said, "Storm, there is absolutely nothing that you can do in the world that will force me to fight you," I added an exclamation point to the end of his sentence by kicking him square between the legs.

Since there were two women as bellkeepers (thanks Heather & Liz!) the bell was run and the game was afoot! Here is one picture a very kind fan (another woman!) sent me of the match. As you can see Atlas is keeping his word, though I don't imagine this was quite what he meant. If I get more pictures of our encounter that I like, I'll definitely post them. Cheers!
