Here I am posing with my trophies for winning the women's heavyweight and overall titles in the first annual Fitness World Benchpress meet held in Auburn, Maine.
If I look a little tired it is because I had been on the road for the better part of a week, and the day before the contest I had to drive from New York back to Maine for nine hours in the rain! Still, the day was mine and it was a very happy end and a wonderful early Christmas present. Most importantly, the contest was held for charity and the proceeds went to the Auburn fire department to benefit area fire victims. |
